Black Sheep Coffee Ltd at Gatwick airport is hiring a full-time Barista. You will craft espresso-based drinks, deliver friendly service, and thrive in a busy environment while upholding quality and speed.

Job description

Hours: 40 Contracted Hours Per Week - Full Time

Pay: £13.15 - £13.65 per hour (inclusive of weekly bonus of 50p per hour)

Rota: Varied shifts Mon-Sun, including some openings and/or closings

We are seeking unique, enthusiastic Barista’s with a background in fast-paced customer service roles who are ready to hit the ground running with our dynamic and progressive company.

What You’ll Do

• Make amazing coffee and products - dial in the perfect espresso, pour eye-catching latte art, and serve quality food and drinks every time.
• Deliver unforgettable customer service - provide a friendly, genuine customer experience that keeps guests coming back.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment - work with speed and efficiency during peak periods while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Be a true team player - Support ad hoc tasks assigned by Manager on Duty, help train new baristas and communicate clearly and calmly during every shift.
• Take pride in the details - maintain a clean, safe workspace and represent the brand with positivity and professionalism. Complete daily and shift-based cleaning, food prep, compliance checklists.

What We're Looking For

• Flexible availability, including some early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Schedule is published 2 weeks in advance.

Because this role is based in an airport location, applicants must be aged 18 or over and have a minimum of six months’ right to work in the UK. Please note that all offers are subject to background and reference checks covering the past five years, including a basic DBS check.
