Job summary

GAUCHO, part of Fire & Vine Hospitality, is seeking an enthusiastic Barback for a festive period in Leeds. This temporary fixed-term position requires energy and teamwork to support busy service periods behind the bar.

You will help maintain cleanliness, prepare garnishes and mise en place, rotate stock and assist bar staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction throughout each shift. This seasonal role offers staff meals and a 50% food discount as part of benefits.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation behind the bar.
• Preparing garnishes, ice and bar mise en place as required.
• Stock rotation
• To complete the daily/weekly cleaning schedule
• Support bar staff at all times to ensure smooth flow of service and great guest experience
• To ensure the bar is stocked prior to and during shift

This is a temporary position on a fixed-term contract until 3 January 2027.
