Job summary

Searcys is seeking a Barback to support the restaurant and Champagne Bar at St Pancras International Station in London. The role is based on site at one of London’s most iconic locations and offers a range of benefits and career development opportunities.

You will assist with delivering exquisite cocktails, wines, and Searcys champagne while upholding high standards of service and safety. The position is available as full time, part time, or flexible shifts with a salary up to £15 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, whilst carrying out all duties required.
• Restocking liquor bottles, beer kegs, wines, garnishes, napkins, straws, and other bar supplies.
• Ice management: hauling, chipping, and refilling ice wells to keep bartenders stocked.
• Collecting empty glasses, washing, polishing, and returning them to the bar stations.
• Wiping down bar tops, emptying bins, clearing spills, and disposing of waste.
• Cutting fruit and preparing syrups or infusions for cocktails.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety, COSHH and related policies.

Job Description

We are looking for personable individuals to join our bar team to assist with with the delivery of exquisite cocktails, exceptional wine and our very own Searcys champagne.

Job Type: Full time, part time and flexible

Salary: up to £15 per hour

• Provide exceptional customer service, whilst carrying out all duties required


• Restocking liquor bottles, beer kegs, wines, garnishes, napkins, straws, and other bar supplies.


• Ice Management: Continuously hauling, chipping, and refilling ice wells so bartenders never run out.


• Collecting empty glasses, washing, polishing, and returning them to the bar stations.


• Wiping down bar tops, emptying bins, clearing spills, and throwing away empty packaging during busy shifts.


• Cutting fruit (limes, lemons, oranges), making fresh juices, and preparing syrups or infusions.


• To ensure that all legislative and Government guidelines are adhered to, including The Food Safety Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, the COSHH regulations, etc. within the areas of responsibility including all other requirements as described in the Searcys Health & Safety Policy
