Job summary

The Birley Clubs are seeking a Barback for Annabel’s in London. You will be responsible for setting up the bar, restocking during service, and keeping glassware polished, while supporting Bartenders with mise-en-place and other duties as required.

Ideal candidates will have Barback experience in a high-profile venue, a passion for hospitality, and an eagerness to learn about cocktails, spirits and wines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Previous Barback experience in a high-profile destination bar, restaurant or private members’ club.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and delivering high levels of service.
• Interest in cocktails, spirits, wine, and quality products with a desire to develop knowledge.
• Hardworking, reliable and proactive with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in high standards.

Responsibilities

Barback - Annabel’s

We are looking for an enthusiastic and charismatic Barback to join the team in Annabel’s, part of The Birley Clubs.

Annabel’s at 46 Berkeley Square covers 26,000 square feet and is home to five restaurants, bars, private dining rooms and a cigar salon. A team of world-class Chefs, Sommeliers and Mixologists have designed an outstanding array of menus, cocktail and wine lists. Expertly sourced, seasonal ingredients, wines and spirits are brought together using traditional and subversive techniques to create truly unique dining and drinking experiences.

As Barback you will be responsible for setting up the bar ready for service, effective stock replenishment throughout service, polishing glasses and assisting the Bartenders with additional tasks, including mise-en-place.
