Job summary

Honeycomb Houses, home to The Bull in Henley-on-Thames, is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage Team Member to welcome guests and deliver attentive service across our characterful pub and rooms. You’ll help create memorable experiences from morning coffee to celebratory dinners, while working with a supportive team and enjoying ongoing training and career development opportunities.

Whetherwelcoming guests for a morning coffee, a leisurely lunch, a celebratory dinneror an overnight stay, you'll play an important role in delivering theattentive, genuine service that defines our houses. You'll be a natural peopleperson, taking pride in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while ensuringevery detail is taken care of.

We'relooking for someone who is friendly, professional and passionate abouthospitality, with a positive attitude and a desire to exceed guestexpectations. Previous experience is always welcomed, but just as important isa willingness to learn, a strong work ethic and a genuine enthusiasm fordelivering exceptional service.

The role:

• Warmly welcoming guests with a smile ensuring every need is anticipated and delivered while making them feel at home.
• Being a positive and hard-working team member who works well with the wider team across all departments.
• Confidently making recommendations to our guests while taking orders.
• Maximising sales through suggestions and up‑selling.
• Preparing and serving drinks to the highest of standards.
• Dealing with payments.
• Maintaining standards of cleanliness & hygiene in the bar, restaurant and garden areas.

We pay up to £12.71 an hour, plus tronc which is on average an extra £1.50 an hour. Tips are then additional to tronc. Employee Benefits:
