Park Holidays UK Ltd. at Beauport Holiday Park in Hastings, East Sussex, is seeking a Bar Team Member for a seasonal, part-time role. The successful candidate will greet customers, take orders, serve drinks and food, and help maintain a clean, welcoming bar area.

Role involves working in a fast-paced environment with training provided. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential to delivering great guest experiences across our park facilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers with a smile, providing prompt, friendly service.
• Assist in preparation and serving of food and drinks, upholding quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of bar area, equipment and utensils.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation to ensure freshness and availability.
• Work as part of a team to complete tasks to a high standard and support colleagues.
• Process transactions accurately (cash and card) following procedures.
• Provide helpful advice to guests and promote park facilities and services.
• Participate in team meetings and training to learn about new products and services.

Overview

We are seeking positive and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Bar Team Member. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working in a vibrant, fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering excellent service. As a key member of our bar team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have a great experience, whether they are enjoying a drink at the bar or dining with us. Job Duties

• Greet and serve customers with a smile, ensuring that they receive prompt, friendly, and attentive service.
• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and drinks, adhering to company standards for quality and presentation.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene at all times, ensuring that the bar area, equipment, and utensils are clean and well-maintained.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels, replenishing items as necessary and assisting with stock rotation to ensure freshness and availability.
• Work as part of a team to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standard, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
• Accurately process transactions, including cash and card payments, ensuring that all cash handling procedures are followed correctly.
• Provide helpful and informative advice to guests, promoting the facilities and services on offer, and ensuring that any queries or concerns are addressed promptly.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your knowledge and skills, staying up to date with new products and services.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or customer service role is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong teamwork skills with a proactive and positive attitude.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions.
