Job summary

Park Holidays UK is seeking Bar Assistants to deliver excellent service in a vibrant holiday park environment. You will greet guests, serve drinks and food, and maintain bar hygiene while working as part of a friendly team.

Full training provided; prior bar/restaurant or customer service experience is advantageous. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to ensure guests have a memorable visit.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Overview

We are seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Assistants. As a key member of our bar team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have a great experience, whether they are enjoying a drink at the bar or dining with us. Job Duties

• Greet and serve customers with a smile, ensuring that they receive prompt, friendly, and attentive service.
• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and drinks, adhering to company standards for quality and presentation.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene at all times, ensuring that the bar area, equipment, and utensils are clean and well-maintained.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels, replenishing items as necessary and assisting with stock rotation to ensure freshness and availability.
• Work as part of a team to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standard, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
• Accurately process transactions, including cash and card payments, ensuring that all cash handling procedures are followed correctly.
• Provide helpful and informative advice to guests, promoting the facilities and services on offer, and ensuring that any queries or concerns are addressed promptly.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your knowledge and skills, staying up to date with new products and services.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or customer service role is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
