Job summary

Park Holidays UK is hiring a Bar Team Member to deliver friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced holiday park setting. You will greet guests, assist with drinks and food, keep the bar tidy, and help with stock and transactions.

Full training is provided and teamwork is essential as you contribute to a positive guest experience and a welcoming atmosphere in our busy parks.

Qualifications

• Experience in bar/restaurant or customer service is helpful but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers with a smile and friendly service.

Overview

We are seeking positive and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Bar Team Member. As a key member of our bar team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have a great experience, whether they are enjoying a drink at the bar or dining with us. Job Duties

• Greet and serve customers with a smile, ensuring that they receive prompt, friendly, and attentive service.
• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and drinks, adhering to company standards for quality and presentation.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene at all times, ensuring that the bar area, equipment, and utensils are clean and well-maintained.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels, replenishing items as necessary and assisting with stock rotation to ensure freshness and availability.
• Work as part of a team to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standard, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
• Accurately process transactions, including cash and card payments, ensuring that all cash handling procedures are followed correctly.
• Provide helpful and informative advice to guests, promoting the facilities and services on offer, and ensuring that any queries or concerns are addressed promptly.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your knowledge and skills, staying up to date with new products and services.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or customer service role is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong teamwork skills with a proactive and positive attitude.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions.
