Job summary

Bartholomew’s at London Museum is launching a distinguished Bar Supervisor role under Green & Fortune. Lead shift operations, manage the bar team and deliver memorable guest experiences in a dynamic museum setting.

You will curate cocktails, drive service standards, manage stock and costs, and collaborate with management to ensure smooth, high-quality hospitality throughout the venue.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory or senior bartender experience.
• Strong cocktail knowledge and beverage service.
• Confident in leading, coaching and organizing a team.
• Passion for hospitality and creating guest experiences.
• Calm, organised approach with stock control and closing procedures.
• Commercial awareness of beverage costs and sales performance.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead on shift, keeping the bar running smoothly and maintaining high standards of service, preparation, presentation and quality throughout the day.
• Lead by example, coaching and supporting the team while creating a positive environment built around great hospitality, technical development and teamwork.
• Bring our drinks offer to life, ensuring cocktails and serves are delivered consistently while developing the team's knowledge and confidence around our menus, ingredients and producers.
• Support stock control, ordering, waste reduction and beverage cost management, ensuring product availability and service efficiency while helping the management team deliver strong commercial results.
• Be a visible and welcoming presence behind the bar and on the floor, building relationships with guests, anticipating their needs and delivering memorable experiences that encourage them to return.
• Work closely with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Floor Supervisor and wider team, supporting both bar and floor operations to deliver a seamless guest experience.
