Job summary

Green & Fortune is recruiting a Bar Supervisor in London to lead a high-performing bar team across seven days of service. You will drive guest satisfaction, oversee opening to close operations, and share your drinks knowledge with guests.

With 2+ years of bar experience and a proactive, organised approach, you will mentor bartenders, ensure compliance and stock control, and foster a welcoming, one-team environment.

Qualifications

• You will have at least two years of bar experience, ideally including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails and premium drinks service.
• Confident leading a team during busy service periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the bar team, ensuring smooth operations from opening to closing.
• Deliver exceptional guest service, preparing cocktails, wines and beers.
• Supervise daily bar operations, maintaining cleanliness and presentation.
• Support stock control, ordering, deliveries and inventory management.
• Train and develop bartenders and barbacks to maintain service standards.
• Ensure licensing, health & safety compliance and responsible service.
• Handle guest queries and resolve issues in partnership with management.

Job description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Bar Supervisor who leads by example, delivers exceptional guest service and supports a high performing bar team.

Green & Fortune offers high quality hospitality experiences across London, with Rotunda, in King's Cross, offering fine dining, bespoke events and scenic views of Regent’s Canal.

We operate seven days a week, from daytime through to late evening.

What makes you a great Bar Supervisor?

You will support the management team in overseeing daily bar operations, ensuring excellent service standards and a positive guest experience.

• Lead and motivate the bar team, ensuring smooth operations from opening to closing.
• Deliver exceptional guest service, preparing classic and signature cocktails, serving wines and beers, and sharing your drinks knowledge with guests.
• Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation.
• Support stock control, ordering, deliveries and inventory management, while minimising waste.
• Train, coach and develop bartenders and barbacks, encouraging teamwork and consistent service standards.
• Ensure compliance with licensing requirements, health and safety standards and responsible alcohol service.
• Handle guest queries and resolve issues professionally, supporting the management team when needed.

What will you bring as a Bar Supervisor?

You will have at least two years of bar experience, ideally including previous supervisory responsibilities, with strong knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails and premium drinks service.

You will be confident leading a team, managing busy service periods and maintaining high standards while creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
