Job summary

Sodexo in Carterton (RAF Brize Norton) is seeking a Bar Staff member for 20 hours per week. You will serve beers, wines, spirits and other beverages and deliver friendly customer service to armed forces personnel.

This role requires keen attention to cash handling, stock checks and compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety standards. 18+ only, on-site position with training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety.
• Professional, reliable and well-presented.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be 18 or over.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional service of beers, wines, spirits and other beverages.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Handle cash, stock and customer chits accurately and securely.
• Follow liquor licensing, Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements.
• Keep the bar, cellar and surrounding areas clean and tidy.
• Carry out cellar duties and stock replenishment.
• Complete required cash and stock records at end of shift.
• Attend team meetings and training sessions.
