Job summary

Daish’s Holidays is seeking enthusiastic Bar Staff to join our team and help create a welcoming experience for guests across our UK hotels. The role includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays, with all-year-round employment and opportunities to progress within our hotels and wider business.

What will you be doing?

Being part of our bar team is like joining an extended family – and a big one! Many of our guests are returning customers, giving you the opportunity to get to know them, build friendships and become a familiar face during their holidays.

As part of the team, you'll help ensure our guests receive friendly, attentive service throughout the evening and during dinner service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing friendly and attentive service to our guests.
• Taking orders and serving drinks efficiently throughout the evening and dinner service.
• Ensuring guests receive the excellent customer service that Daish’s is known for.
• Promoting our products and using every opportunity to up-sell where appropriate.
• Working confidently both independently and as part of a team.
• Restocking the bar at the end of your shift or as directed by the Bar Manager.
• Keeping the bar, equipment and surrounding areas clean and tidy, including floors, in line with the Bar Cleaning Schedule or instructions from the Bar Manager.
• Helping to create a friendly, positive and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

What are we looking for?

Previous bar experience is helpful but isn't essential. We're looking for people with a positive attitude who enjoy working with people and providing great customer service.

• Friendly, approachable and confident when speaking with guests.
• Positive and upbeat, with a willingness to get involved.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a busy environment.

• Reliable and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
