Job summary

Daish’s Holidays is seeking a bar team member to deliver a friendly, high‑quality guest experience in the hotel bar. You will be responsible for serving drinks during evenings and dinner service, ensuring guests are well looked after and never without a drink, while maintaining bar stock and cleanliness as part of a close‑knit team.

Qualifications

• Able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
• Friendly and approachable with customers.
• Upsell products at every opportunity.
• Restock the Bar at end of shift or as directed by Bar Manager.
• Ensure bar equipment and floors are kept clean as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Serve drinks during evenings and dinner service to ensure guests always have beverages.
• Maintain guest focus and ensure drinks are never empty.
• Restock bar supplies and assist with closing duties as directed by Bar Manager.
• Keep bar area clean and organized according to schedule.

Being part of our bar team is like joining an extended family, a big one! The majority of our guests will be returning customers who you will create friendships with as they visit again and again. Your job, is to ensure they are well watered in the evenings and through out dinner. Drinks should never be empty and our guests must always be the priority.

Qualities and skills you’ll have that raise the bar:

• Able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
• Friendly & approachable
• Ensure our business is promoted at all possible times with up-selling of products at every opportunity.
• Responsible for restocking the Bar at the end of shift or as the Bar Manager directs
• Ensuring equipment installed on the bar is left clean after your shift including floors, as shown in the Bar Cleaning Schedule or directed by the Bar Manager.
