Job summary

Daish’s Holidays is seeking enthusiastic Bar Staff for all-year employment, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. You’ll join a friendly team, deliver attentive service, take orders, upsell when possible, and help maintain a welcoming atmosphere for our guests across our UK hotels and venues.

Previous bar experience is useful but not essential; a positive attitude and commitment to high standards are valued. Competitive benefits and staff discounts are provided.

What will you be doing?

Being part of our bar team is like joining an extended family – and a big one! Many of our guests are returning customers, giving you the opportunity to get to know them, build friendships and become a familiar face during their holidays.

As part of the team, you'll help ensure our guests receive friendly, attentive service throughout the evening and during dinner service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing friendly and attentive service to our guests.
• Taking orders and serving drinks efficiently throughout the evening and dinner service.
• Ensuring guests receive the excellent customer service that Daish’s is known for.
• Promoting our products and using every opportunity to up-sell where appropriate.
• Working confidently both independently and as part of a team.
• Restocking the bar at the end of your shift or as directed by the Bar Manager.
• Keeping the bar, equipment and surrounding areas clean and tidy, including floors, in line with the Bar Cleaning Schedule or instructions from the Bar Manager.
• Helping to create a friendly, positive and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

What are we looking for?

Previous bar experience is helpful but isn't essential. We're looking for people with a positive attitude who enjoy working with people and providing great customer service.
