Job summary

Crowne Plaza Glasgow is seeking an Assistant Bar Manager to lead daily bar operations, maintain high standards of service and drive profitability. You will implement cost controls, forecast bar performance and ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety procedures.

This role offers 40 hours per week across five days, with shifts to suit business needs. Apprenticeships and brand-led training are available, and Valor Hospitality supports career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and maintaining control measures to ensure bar costs, productivity, labour costs and operating supply costs are in line with budget.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Duty Management shifts according to business needs.
• Participate in departmental meetings to review progress towards business goals.
• Ensure the highest standards of food and beverage service are provided to guests.
• Plan, organise and direct the Bar operation, Administration and Promotion, and drive profitability.
