The Walcot Group is seeking a creative, driven Bar Manager to lead beverage operations across our Bath and Frome venues. You will own the bar program, manage stock, mentor staff, and drive profitability with speed, precision and hospitality at the core.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Bar Manager or Assistant Bar Manager in a high-volume venue.
• Deep knowledge of spirits, wines, beer, cocktails and current beverage trends.
• Understanding of GP targets, stock control, inventory systems.
• Ability to train, coach, and develop junior staff.
• Calm, high-pressure leadership with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day bar operations and shift rotas.
• Curate seasonal drink menus and cocktail specs.
• Oversee bar inventory, stock takes, and cash reporting.
• Train staff on recipes, techniques, and compliance.
