Job summary

Imad’s Syrian Kitchen in the Royal Borough of Greenwich seeks a Bar Manager to oversee all bar operations, uphold high service standards, manage inventory, and lead a team of bartenders and bar staff.

You will develop new drink menus, optimize profitability, and ensure health and safety standards are maintained, while collaborating with restaurant management to align bar goals with the business.

Qualifications

• Experience as Bar Manager or in a leadership role within hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of mixology and beverage pairings.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth service and high-quality drinks.
• Develop and implement creative beverage menus, including cocktails, mocktails, wines, and other specialty drinks.
• Recruit, train, and manage bar staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing for cost-effective purchasing.
• Monitor bar sales and profitability, implementing strategies to drive revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Engage with customers to enhance their experience, handling complaints and feedback professionally.
• Implement and maintain cleanliness and organization standards across the bar area.
• Work closely with the restaurant management team to align bar operations with overall business goals.

Job Summary:
