Aethos is seeking a Bar Manager to lead the daily operation of the MITSU Bar in London Shoreditch, delivering exceptional guest service and upholding our brand standards.

You will train and develop a high-performing team, oversee opening, service, and closing, and expertly manage beverage offerings from wine to signature cocktails with emphasis on guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in lifestyle boutique hotel or fine dining/bar environment preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, stay calm under pressure, and engage guests.
• Strong leadership and staff development skills.

THE ROLE

As a Bar Manager you will be responsible for fulfilling the management in the daily operation of the MITSU Bar.

Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:

• Provide exceptional quality service to guests in a quick and efficient manner in line with hotel and brand standards.
• Overseeing and supporting the opening, operation, and closing of MITSU bar
• Genuine passion and a good working knowledge of all beverage products - particularly wine, liquor, and signature cocktails as well as a good working knowledge of all food products. (Excellent training will be given!)
• To train and develop an exceptional team, to empower them to be the best they can be

ABOUT YOU

• Ideally you would have previous experience with the ability to engage and connect with a wide range of guests from different backgrounds, ideally gained in a similar ‘Lifestyle’ boutique hotel, destination fine dining restaurant or cocktail lounge/bar
• Be comfortable in your ability to multi-task, prioritise and remain calm under pressure
• Have an open and approachable manner, great communication skills and thrive on interacting with people
• Strong leadership skills & excellent customer service focus
• An eye for detail and an understanding of what it takes to provide outstanding levels of guest service
