Job summary

The Teller’s Arms in Farnham is seeking a Bar Manager/Assistant Manager to lead a busy, high-energy bar operation. You will own the beverage program, train the team, and work with the General Manager to expand the drink offering from cocktails to wine and seasonal pairings.

Located on Castle Street in a historic former bank building with a rooftop terrace and boutique bedrooms, the role offers creative freedom, development opportunities, competitive salary, 28 days holiday, and staff discounts.

What’s On Your Plate:

• Raising the Bar:Lead all bar operations with confidence, creativity, and calm, ensuring fast, flawless service across our bustling pub, stunning rooftop terrace, and dining spaces.
• Liquid Craftsmanship:Take complete ownership of our beverage program—driving quality control, expert cellar management, cocktail development, and accurate stock ordering.
• Ambition:Work closely with our General Manager to maximize wet-sales, introduce exciting new drinks menus, and position our bar as Farnham's ultimate destination for drinks enthusiasts.
• Camaraderie:Train, mentor, and inspire our team on product knowledge, speed of service, and cocktail curation, creating a fun, high-energy environment behind the bar.
• Host with the Most:Be a visible, welcoming presence on the floor, building lasting relationships with locals, regulars, and visitors alike.
