Uno Mas is an energetic and modern Mexican restaurant in Weymouth Landing. Neighborhood feel with a big city vibe! We are searching for a committed and proactive Bar Manager, with a restaurant focus, who would enjoy working in an exciting, fast-paced environment!

The Bar Manager will promote and grow the business, hire and train bar staff, and ensure that patrons are receiving excellent drinks, food, and service. This position will also be responsible for managing inventory and resources, planning promotional events, while ensuring quality and safety controls are followed.

The Bar Manager will create schedules, and set business objectives to increase profits and maximize customer satisfaction. You should also be able to work with diverse personalities and diffuse tense situations.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Liquor, beer, and N/A beverage inventory, as well as ordering
• Establishing prep lists and cleanliness standards for bartenders/barbacks
• Creating and maintaining proper scheduling
• Assisting with general management of the restaurant
• Training and adhering to best practices and company policies
• Ensuring the best experience with high standards of service
• Maintaining a fun, safe atmosphere for employees and patrons.

In Order to Thrive:

• Minimum 1-year management experience, high volume a plus OR 3-years bartending experience and wanting to make the move to management
• Self-motivated, willing to learn
• Invest in meaningful partnerships with ownership, management and both your FOH and BOH team
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Constant evaluation and improvement
