Job summary

Brunning & Price Limited is seeking a Bar Manager for The Arrow Mill in Alcester. You will lead a busy bar, set the tone on arrival, and deliver exceptional service with a focus on presentation, product knowledge, and guest engagement.

You’ll own the bar operation, supervise the team, and drive memorable wet-led events from seasonal promotions to lively evenings while maintaining high standards and training colleagues for progression within the Brunning & Price family.

Qualifications

• Experience leading busy bar teams in hospitality.
• Strong customer service and presentation standards.
• Ability to plan events and manage stock and costs.

About you...

As Bar Manager, you’ll be the face of the pub and the first point of contact for our guests. From the moment people walk through the door, you’ll set the tone, delivering a genuine welcome, building rapport, and making sure every visit feels special.

You’ll take real ownership of the bar, leading from the front while maintaining exceptional standards of service, presentation, and product knowledge. A key part of the role will be getting involved in planning and delivering engaging wet-led events, from seasonal promotions and drinks launches to lively social evenings that bring the pub to life. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves hospitality, thrives in a busy environment, and enjoys creating memorable experiences for guests while driving the success of the bar.
