Job summary

Brunning and Price is seeking a Bar Manager for The Arrow Mill, Alcester. You’ll lead the bar team, ensure exceptional service, and drive engaging events from seasonal promotions to launches.

This hands-on role offers a competitive package up to £38,500 including tronc and bonus, basic up to £31,000 plus tronc, overtime paid, and generous staff benefits such as meals, pension, and discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience as a bar manager or assistant manager in gastro pub, restaurant or hotel.
• Ability to lead a busy bar and deliver high service standards.
• Comfort delivering wet-led events, promotions and drinks launches.

About you...

As Bar Manager, you'll be the face of the pub and the first point of contact for our guests. From the moment people walk through the door, you'll set the tone, delivering a genuine welcome, building rapport, and making sure every visit feels special.

You'll take real ownership of the bar, leading from the front while maintaining exceptional standards of service, presentation, and product knowledge. A key part of the role will be getting involved in planning and delivering engaging wet-led events, from seasonal promotions and drinks launches to lively social evenings that bring the pub to life. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves hospitality, thrives in a busy environment, and enjoys creating memorable experiences for guests while driving the success of the bar.
