Job summary

Caledonian Leisure Ltd is seeking a Bar Assistant to support our hospitality team across bar and restaurant areas in a busy hotel environment operating year‑round. You will deliver excellent customer service, maintain a visible presence, handle till procedures, and help upsell products to guests.

The role requires a can‑do attitude, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team, with flexible shifts and a welcoming approach to customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help serve food and drink in the bar and restaurant area whilst adhering to company standards and giving excellent customer service.
• Have a visible presence within the hotel to ensure all customer requests are dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner.
• To up sell products where possible.
• Ensure all cash, charge, float and till procedures are carried out in accordance with Company Policy.
• To assist and positively contribute to the smooth running of the Bar department.
• To perform all reasonable requests by Management.
