leaf HOSPITALITY is seeking a Bar Host to join its Food & Beverage team in Hull. You will deliver friendly service, prepare drinks and help create a welcoming bar atmosphere for guests in a four-star hotel setting.

The role requires a passion for hospitality, with the ability to work in a busy environment and maintain high service standards. Evening, weekend and holiday shifts are typical for this guest-facing position.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, bar service or customer service experience is desirable.

Bar Host

This stunning four-star hotel is centrally located within Hull, on Ferensway, minutes from the train station and St Stephens Shopping Centre. The hotel is opposite the Hull Truck Theatre and is a short stroll to the bustling downtown and marina area. This contemporary-style hotel offers a stylish stay for corporate guests and also accommodates leisure guests and family stays with its spacious and relaxing environment.

The hotel boasts 165 bedrooms and a 1,000sqm ballroom for events and conferences. There is a Marco Pierre White Steakhouse and Grill offering hearty meals and a pleasurable atmosphere. Guests will enjoy relaxing with food and drinks in our lounge bar or may choose to visit our rooftop bar The Lexington for panoramic views of Hull and a handmade cocktail on the terrace.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Bar Host to join our Food & Beverage team and help create memorable experiences for our guests.

This is a guest-facing role where you'll deliver excellent service, prepare and serve drinks and help create a welcoming atmosphere within the bar.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver friendly and professional service to guests in the bar

• Prepare and serve drinks in line with company standards

• Create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests

• Maintain excellent knowledge of drinks menus and promotions

• Handle guest enquiries and requests professionally and efficiently

• Process orders and payments accurately

• Help maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the bar

• Support food service within the bar area where applicable

• Ensure compliance with licensing, health and safety and company standards

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional guest experiences

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in hospitality, bar service or customer service is desirable

• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
