Job summary

leaf HOSPITALITY is seeking a motivated Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team at a four-star hotel in Hull. You will clean and prepare guest bedrooms to the highest standards, ensuring comfort and a welcoming atmosphere for every stay.

We look for someone with a keen eye for detail, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Training and development opportunities, generous benefits, and a supportive work environment are provided.

• Previous housekeeping, cleaning or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest bedrooms to the highest standards
• Ensure bedrooms, bathrooms and guest areas are clean, comfortable and welcoming
• Replenish guest amenities, linen and supplies as required
• Follow cleaning schedules and company procedures consistently
• Report maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns promptly
• Ensure all rooms are prepared efficiently and ready for arriving guests
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and attention to detail
• Support the wider Housekeeping team when required
• Follow health and safety, hygiene and company standards at all times
• Help create memorable guest experiences through exceptional room presentation

Room Attendant

This stunning four-star hotel is centrally located within Hull, on Ferensway, minutes from the train station and St Stephens Shopping Centre. The hotel is opposite the Hull Truck Theatre and is a short stroll to the bustling downtown and marina area. This contemporary-style hotel offers a stylish stay for corporate guests and also accommodates leisure guests and family stays with its spacious and relaxing environment.
The hotel boasts 165 bedrooms and a 1,000sqm ballroom for events and conferences. There is a Marco Pierre White Steakhouse and Grill offering hearty meals and a pleasurable atmosphere. Guests will enjoy relaxing with food and drinks in our lounge bar or may choose to visit our rooftop bar The Lexington for panoramic views of Hull and a handmade cocktail on the terrace.
