Job summary

Cloud 23 at The Manchester Deansgate Hotel, part of InterContinental Hotels Group, is seeking a friendly Food and Beverage Host to warmly welcome guests, guide seating, and explain menus.

You will manage reservations, assist guests in person and by phone or email, and work with the Bar Management team to ensure seamless service across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Restaurant, Bar or Hotel as a Host, Receptionist or Senior Waiting Staff.
• Experience using an F&B booking system is preferred.
• Comfortable assisting guests in person, over the phone and by email.

As a Bar Host at Cloud 23, your main duties and responsibilities will be greeting guests with a warm and friendly welcome (ensuring they are taken to their seats and menus are explained); manage the booking systems to keep track of reservations and ensure confirmations are sent to all customers; assisting our customers in person, over the phone and via email with any queries or complaints and working with the Bar Management team to ensure a seamless service at all times.

We are looking for someone who has

• Availability to work 24 hours per week across 3 shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Experience working within a Restaurant, Bar or Hotel as a Host, Receptionist or Senior Waiting Staff
• Experience using an F&B booking system is preferred
• Overall, ready to work in the Manchester Deansgate team and provide our guests with a warm Manchester welcome!
