Job summary

THE NICI Collection in the UK is seeking a Bar Back to join our bar team. You will support bartenders, help keep the bar stocked with beverages and glassware, and contribute to delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced luxury setting.

This is an excellent entry into luxury hospitality, with full training provided and opportunities to develop your career within a growing brand. You will work evenings, weekends and holidays as required, across a dynamic guest-focused operation.

Qualifications

• Previous bar or hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic are important.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep the bar stocked with beverages, glassware, garnishes, and supplies.
• Prepare and replenish ice, mixers, and bar essentials.
• Wash and polish glassware to maintain presentation.
• Keep bar and back-of-house areas tidy and organized.
• Receive and store deliveries following stock procedures.
• Set up and close down the bar each day.
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to deliver guest experiences.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Bar Back to join our bar team. Supporting our bartenders, you will play a key role in ensuring the bar operates efficiently, delivering exceptional service and helping create memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Support bartenders by keeping the bar fully stocked with beverages, glassware, garnishes, and supplies.
• Prepare and replenish ice, mixers, and other bar essentials throughout service.
• Collect, wash, and polish glassware to maintain presentation standards.
• Keep the bar and back-of-house areas clean, organised, and well maintained.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries in line with stock procedures.
• Help with setting up and closing down the bar each day.
• Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene standards are followed at all times.
• Work closely with the wider Food & Beverage team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
