Job summary

Park Holidays UK is seeking Bar Assistants to join our vibrant, fast-paced teams across our parks. You will greet guests, take orders, serve drinks and meals, and help maintain a welcoming atmosphere for families and adults alike.

No prior bar experience is required as full training is provided. Strong communication, teamwork, and reliability are valued, with opportunities for personal development within our friendly holiday park network.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or customer service role is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers with a smile, ensuring prompt, friendly service.
• Assist in preparation and serving of food and drinks per company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bar area and with equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with rotation to ensure freshness.
• Work as part of a team to complete tasks to a high standard.
• Process cash and card payments, following cash handling procedures.
• Provide helpful advice to guests and promote available facilities.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated.

Overview

We are seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Assistants. As a key member of our bar team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have a great experience, whether they are enjoying a drink at the bar or dining with us. Job Duties

• Greet and serve customers with a smile, ensuring that they receive prompt, friendly, and attentive service.
• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and drinks, adhering to company standards for quality and presentation.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene at all times, ensuring that the bar area, equipment, and utensils are clean and well-maintained.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels, replenishing items as necessary and assisting with stock rotation to ensure freshness and availability.
• Work as part of a team to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standard, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
• Accurately process transactions, including cash and card payments, ensuring that all cash handling procedures are followed correctly.
• Provide helpful and informative advice to guests, promoting the facilities and services on offer, and ensuring that any queries or concerns are addressed promptly.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your knowledge and skills, staying up to date with new products and services.
