The Venues Collection at Eastwood Hall, Nottingham, is seeking a friendly Bar Assistant to join our team. You’ll serve drinks, take orders, handle payments and keep the bar stocked, while supporting weddings, conferences and events for a memorable guest experience.

If you love hospitality, enjoy a lively atmosphere and take pride in great service, you’ll fit right in. Previous bar or hospitality experience is a plus, but the right attitude matters most.

• Previous bar, hospitality or customer service experience would be great, but the right attitude and a willingness to learn are just as important.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly smile and create a warm, inviting bar atmosphere.
• Serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks efficiently and professionally.
• Take orders, process payments and handle transactions accurately.
• Keep the bar well-stocked, organised and ready for service.
• Prepare the bar for weddings, conferences, private functions and other events.
• Make recommendations and help guests choose drinks to suit their preferences.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the bar and surrounding areas.
• Monitor stock levels and support stock checks, deliveries and replenishment.
• Work closely with the wider Food & Beverage and Conference & Events teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Support colleagues during busy periods and contribute wherever needed.
• Follow licensing laws, age-verification procedures, responsible alcohol service guidelines and all health and safety standards.
• Help create memorable experiences that keep guests returning.

We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Bar Assistant to join the team at Eastwood Hall!

From serving up refreshing drinks and creating a welcoming bar atmosphere to supporting weddings, conferences and events, no two days need to be the same. You'll be right at the heart of the action, making sure our guests have a great time and receive fantastic service from the moment they arrive.

You don’t need to know everything on day one. What matters most is having a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a passion for hospitality.

What you'll be doing...

• Welcoming guests with a friendly smile and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere at the bar.
