Job summary

Orleto Lounge, part of Loungers plc, is hiring Front of House Team Members in Basildon. The role offers up to £12.71 per hour plus tips, paid breaks, staff meals on every shift, and 50% off food and drinks from day one.

Experience isn’t essential; we’ll teach you the rest and help you grow in a hospitality-focused career. As part of the Bar & Waiting team, you’ll deliver warm hospitality, serve food and drinks to high standards, and ensure customers leave happy.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality is not essential, but a friendly, customer-focused attitude is valued.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to read customers and adapt to different situations.
• Ability to work well in a team and stay motivated during busy shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide warm, genuine hospitality from entry.
• Serve food to a high standard and ensure accuracy of orders.
• Prepare and serve drinks including coffees and cocktails.
• Keep the bar stocked, cleaned, and organized throughout shifts.
• Handle payments accurately and answer customer queries confidently.

We're hiring Front of House Team Members to join Orleto Lounge, a local café bar. Part of Loungers, proudly named Casual Dining Group of the Year 2026. Offering up to £12.71/hr + tips, paid breaks, staff food every shift, and 50% off food & drinks, this a great next step for a waiter, waitress, barista, bartender, and more. About the Role

As part of our Bar & Waiting team, you'll be the sort of person who can read each customer effortlessly, adapting your style whether it's a quiet solo coffee or a table full of birthday cocktails. What You'll Do

• Welcoming customers and delivering warm, genuine hospitality from the moment they walk in
• Serving food to a high standard, making sure every dish lands just right
• Preparing and serving drinks to spec - coffees, cocktails, and everything in between
• Keeping the bar prepped, stocked, and clean throughout every shift
• Handling payments accurately and answering customer queries, including allergen questions, with confidence
