Job summary

Abacus Careers is seeking a Banking & Finance Solicitor, Associate, for a Belfast firm. You will handle complex finance transactions in NI with some international elements and report to the Head of Function.

The role includes business development, mentoring junior lawyers, sharp drafting and attention to detail, and flexibility to work with cross-border matters. Being NI qualified or E&W/ROI qualified with a view to NI is preferred.

• Experience in banking and finance transactions is preferred.

Our client is a leading Belfast firm whose Banking team advises across a wide range of sectors. It’s open to a Solicitor or Associate who wants a bigger say in how the practice develops.

Alongside client delivery, you’ll be involved in business development and in supporting more junior colleagues.

The firm is after strong technical drafting, real attention to detail, and a positive, can-do approach when deadlines bite. You should be NI qualified, or E&W / ROI qualified with a view to practising in NI.
