Job summary

Achuman Capital Limited is assisting a leading national law firm in Belfast to recruit a Senior Lawyer or Partner for its Banking & Finance team. The role involves advising borrowers, lenders, investors and corporate clients on complex domestic and cross-border financing transactions.

The candidate will lead transactions, draft and negotiate finance documentation, manage key client relationships and mentor junior lawyers while driving business development and growth of the practice.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ PQE in banking & finance.
• Extensive experience in corporate lending, real estate, leveraged and acquisition finance.
• Ability to lead transactions and supervise junior lawyers.
• Willingness to engage in business development and mentoring.

Responsibilities

The Role:

The successful candidate will join a highly regarded Banking & Finance team, advising borrowers, lenders, investors and corporate clients on complex domestic and cross-border financing transactions.

The role will involve advising on corporate lending, real estate finance, leveraged and acquisition finance, venture debt, asset-backed lending and energy and infrastructure finance. The successful candidate will lead transactions, draft and negotiate finance and security documentation, manage key client relationships, supervise junior lawyers and contribute to business development and the continued growth of the practice.
