Job summary

A leading commercial law firm in Belfast is strengthening its Banking & Finance team with one or more Solicitors. This role offers exposure to a broad and sophisticated range of banking matters for lenders, borrowers and financial institutions.

You will work on a varied caseload, across secured and unsecured lending, asset finance, refinancing and complex transactions, gaining experience from start to finish within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Banking & Finance Solicitors with 1-7 years' PQE.

A leading commercial law firm is looking to strengthen its Banking & Finance team with the appointment of one or more Solicitors.

The Role

You will work across a varied Banking & Finance caseload, with exposure to matters including:

• Secured and unsecured lending
• Acquisition and asset finance
• Corporate and commercial lending
• Refinancing and restructuring
• Loan and facility documentation
• Security documentation
• Banking aspects of corporate restructuring and insolvency
• Complex transactions involving multiple stakeholders

You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior lawyers and clients, gaining exposure to transactions from start to finish and developing both your technical and commercial experience.

The Candidate

We are looking for qualified Banking & Finance Solicitors with approximately 1-7 years' PQE and a genuine interest in developing their careers within this area.

You will ideally have experience advising lenders, borrowers or financial institutions and be comfortable working with finance documentation and security arrangements.

The firm is particularly interested in candidates who are:

• Technically strong, with good drafting and negotiation skills
• Proactive and able to take ownership of their work
