Job summary

BCL Legal are pleased to present an excellent opportunity for a Banking Solicitor (2-7 years' PQE) to join the Banking & Finance team of a leading national law firm in Edinburgh.

You will advise lenders, borrowers and corporate clients on complex cross-border transactions, work across Scotland and the UK, and benefit from a collaborative culture, strong training, and clear career progression within a hybrid working environment.

• 2-7 years of post-qualification experience in Banking & Finance.
• Strong technical skills and a genuine interest in developing the Banking practice.

The Role

As part of this established Banking & Finance team, you will:

• Advise a broad range of lenders, borrowers and corporate clients on banking and finance matters
• Work on high-value, complex and often cross-border transactions
• Gain exposure to a varied caseload across the full spectrum of Banking & Finance work
• Build strong client relationships and work closely with high-profile national and international clients
• Play an active role in business development initiatives and client engagement
• Collaborate with experienced colleagues in a supportive and commercially focused team

About You

To be considered, you will ideally have:
