Job summary

Barclays in Glasgow is seeking a Specialist Customer Care Colleague to deliver outstanding service to business customers across a varied mix of calls, supporting new lending needs and progressing applications through to completion.

You will work between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Saturday on a shift rotation, with a structured development pathway including lending accreditation up to £50k as you grow with the role.

• Experience in telephony-based customer service.
• Ability to understand and respond to business banking customers' needs.
• Capable of handling complex queries and providing effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service via chat, email and phone.
• Resolve complex customer needs with personalised solutions.
• Collaborate with bank teams to align customer care processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and coach colleagues on changes.
• Develop and implement customer care procedures to mitigate risks.
• Handle inquiries related to accounts, transactions and payments.
• Prepare and present reports on customer care performance to stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends to implement best practices.
