Job summary

Abbeyfield Living Society is seeking Relief Cook & Housekeeper staff for Milverton Lodge, Formby, to support our Sheltered Housing team. This bank (casual) role combines cooking and resident care in a warm, safe environment.

You will prepare meals, assist residents with daily needs, keep communal areas clean, and participate in wellbeing activities. Training is provided; UK work eligibility, two references and a basic DBS check are required.

Location: Milverton Lodge, 3 & 3a Brows Lane, Formby, Liverpool, L37 3HY
Hourly Rate: £13.61 - £14.03 p/h
Contract: Bank ( Casual )

We're seeking relief Cook & Housekeeper staff to complement our existing Sheltered Housing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a flexible, rewarding role where they can make a real difference in the lives of older people.

About the Role

As a relief Cook & Housekeeper, you will take on a dual role, combining cooking and resident support responsibilities. You will directly impact the wellbeing of our residents by providing the support and care they need in a safe, nurturing environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Pay & Benefits

• In line with your casual (bank) worker assignment agreement, we offer competitive pay that is benchmarked regularly, and in line with those of our employed staff in similar roles.

• To carry out this role, you will be provided with mandatory training to get you started, as part of a comprehensive induction. To work for us in future assignments, you will be expected to keep your mandatory training up to date.
