Job summary

Sulis Hospital Bath is seeking Bank Theatre Practitioner/ODP to join its Theatre team on a flexible bank basis in Bath. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high standards of surgical care in a busy hospital environment.

You will prepare operating rooms, manage equipment, supplies and medications, and provide compassionate patient care. DBS clearance and NMC or ODP registration are required; CPD records should be demonstrable; bank hours apply.

• CPD record demonstrating ongoing professional development.

We are looking for motivated and passionate individuals to work flexibly as part of our hospital’s clinical theatre team providing the highest standards of professional care to patients and to make a positive contribution towards the team’s pursuit of excellence.

A friendly manner is essential as you will need to be able to communicate with patients and put them at ease during this vulnerable time along with high attention to detail to ensure your documentation is accurate.

You will be responsible for preparing operating room for surgery including equipment, supplies and medications required for specific procedures contributing to the team working throughout our theatre department whilst providing the highest standards of professional care.
