Job summary

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a Bank Team Leader to join the Wylesfield residential care team in Llandrindod Wells. The role is part-time and on a bank contract, with a hourly rate of £15.08 and flexible hours to cover service needs.

You will lead a team providing compassionate care to residents, build relationships with families and healthcare professionals, and ensure care plans are followed with clear communication to the Line Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential care with older adults preferred.
• Flexible, patient, caring and well-organised.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Completed or in progress toward QCF 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead a care team to deliver high-quality residential care.
• Build strong relationships with family, friends and health professionals.
• Keep Line Manager updated on residents' needs and progress.
• Write and follow care plans in line with guidelines.

Shaw healthcare is looking for a Residential Team Leader to join the team at Wylesfield. You will join a team that is fully committed to making a difference to the lives of those who we provide care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our service users and to provide the same standard of care that we would expect our own family members to receive. You will be using the latest care technology that will enable you to spend more time with the service users that you care for.

As a Team leader, you'll have previous experience working with older people in residential care. You will need to be flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people. You will have strong communication skills both verbally and in writing and also will have completed or working towards your QCF 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).

It will be your responsibility to build strong relationships with all those around you, making sure family and friends feel welcomed, that health care professionals are kept well-informed, and that you're keeping your Line Manager up to speed with residents' needs and progress. A team player, you can follow guidelines and policies easily, and will have good written skills, as you will need to write up care plans.
