Job summary

The Good Shepherd Trust is seeking a casual Bank Teaching Assistant to support pupils from Nursery to Year 6 at St Mark and All Saints C of E Primary School, Godalming. The role includes classroom support, playground duties and resource preparation.

Salary is Grade B (£13.13 per hour with enhanced holiday pay). Start ASAP. Wraparound care (Treetops) may be available. This is a casual contract with a part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• GCSE grades at least 'C' in English and Maths.
• Read and write fluently; confidence in maths.
• Self-confidence, common sense and maturity.
• Good sense of humour and effective communication skills.
• Adaptability and enthusiasm.
• SEN experience is desirable but not essential.
• Confident to work with pupils from Nursery to Year 6.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning from Nursery to Year 6.
• Undertake playground duties.
• Prepare resources for lessons.
• Assist the class teacher.
• Lunchtime duties.
• Possible additional hours in Wraparound care Treetops.
