Job summary

Ryde House Group on the Isle of Wight is expanding its Bank Staff Team to support people with learning disabilities and autism. As a Bank Support Worker, you will help with daily routines, encourage independence, and enable meaningful activities across locations.

No prior experience needed; full training provided. You’ll enjoy flexible shifts, avoid long-term commitments, and be part of a welcoming, supportive team that values person-centred care and opportunities for development.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines for people in care, encouraging independence and meaningful activities.
• Assist with attending college, staying in for activities like watching a movie, or joining day trips.
• Work across multiple locations with the flexibility to pick up shifts as availability allows.

What You'll Do

You will support the people we care for with their daily routines, encourage their independence, and help them enjoy meaningful experiences. On one day you may be supporting someone with attending college, another day you may be staying in to watch a movie or joining them on fun day trips out!

This is a role where every day is a new experience, and you will see the difference you make every single day. As a Bank Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work shifts across our many locations while also having the freedom to pick up shifts as and when you have the availability.
