Priory Group in Peterborough is seeking a compassionate Bank Support Worker to provide person-centred care at Conquest House. You will assist with daily living tasks, enable independence, and support residents with learning disabilities and autism in a semi-rural setting.

The role offers flexible weekend shifts, full training, and a supportive team focused on dignity, safety and ongoing development within Priory Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support work (desirable, but not essential – training provided).

Description

Conquest House is located in the village of Farcet, Peterborough. The home offers residential support for 15 males and females who have a primary learning disability diagnosis, who may also be on the autism spectrum. We are in a semi-rural location, set in large country grounds.

Our dedicated team are passionate about helping the people we care for to lead lives that are as independent as possible. We want to provide our residents with the highest quality support enabling them to build on their skills, live more independently, and reach their goals.

What you'll be doing

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Bank Support Worker to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will provide the highest standard of person-centred support and care, enabling the people who use our service to live with dignity, independence, and choice.

Bank Support workers are key workers, and provide direct support to our service users in support them to live there best lives. Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.

You will play a vital part in helping individuals achieve their personal goals, supporting them in daily living, and empowering them to realise their potential.
