Job summary

Shaw healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Bank Support Worker to join Burleys Wood, a modern 60 en-suite bedroom designed care home situated in the quiet residential suburb of Furnace Green just outside Crawley town centre. The purpose-built service provides residential and nursing care for older people with physical frailty, and for older people living with dementia.

As a Bank Support Worker you will cover shifts as needed, with Bank/Zero hours contracts and shifts ranging

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred care in line with an individual’s care plan
• Offering personal care, including bathing, dressing and hygiene
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents
• Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion
• Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting colleagues in day-to-day duties
• Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment

Job description

Salary: £13.80 per hour

Hours: Bank - Zero hours

Shift Times: As/when needed in service -12hr shifts (07:45-20:15 or 20:00-08:00)

Job Responsibilities

As a Bank Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. This will include, but not limited to:
