Job summary

Swanton Care and Community is seeking a Bank Support Worker to provide practical and emotional support to people at Gryphon Place in Norwich. You will help individuals achieve their goals, respect their dignity, and participate in a range of activities and daily living tasks, aligned with personal support plans.

The role focuses on promoting health and well-being within an inclusive environment, with flexible on-call shifts and a commitment to standing by the service users through varied daily

The Role
  • Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans.
  • Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.
  • Facilitating social, educational or work activities such as visiting family and friends, walks, shopping and other recreational activities of their choice.
  • General housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care.
  • As part of the role, you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents.

Gryphon Place is a 7-bed service located in Norwich, with easy access to a wide range of local amenities.
