Job summary

Swanton Care is seeking Bank Support Workers/Carers to assist people in Derby (DE1) with personal care, daily living tasks, and emotional support. You will work on a 0-hour contract and join a team dedicated to dignity and empowering individuals to live their best life.

Full training is provided; previous experience with learning disabilities is preferred but not required. You will be part of a flexible, supportive team in a community-based setting, with DBS onboarding and opportunities for

About The Role

We're looking for Bank Support Workers/Carers who care about making every moment matter for the people we support in Derby.

Positions: Bank Support Worker/Carers

Location: Derby (DE1)

Hours: 0 hour contracts available.

WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP.

  • To provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans.
  • Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.
  • General housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care.
  • As part of the role, you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents.

Are you enthusiastic, compassionate and committed to supporting people in a way which respects their dignity?

Ideally you will have previous experience supporting people with learning disabilities, although full training will be provided. You will also need to be adaptable, flexible with excellent communication skills and able to work as part of our team.
