Job summary

Priory Group is recruiting for a Bank/Support Worker at Woodhouse Hall in East Ardsley, West Yorkshire. The post supports adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism, and personality differences in a residential setting.

The role offers flexible hours as a bank position with training provided. You will perform personal care, support daily living activities, encourage participation, maintain records, and build strong relationships with residents and staff while upholding safety

Qualifications

  • A caring and respectful approach to supporting others.

  • Commitment to upholding professional standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience in care or support work (desirable, but not essential - training provided).

Description

Woodhouse Hall is looking to recruit a Support Worker to join the team. This is a bank role. Woodhouse Hall is located in East Ardsley, in West Yorkshire. It offers residential support for 19 adult males and females with a range of needs. These include people with a learning disability, mental health needs, people on the autism spectrum, and those with a personality disorder. We are in a semi-rural location, off the main road from East Ardsley to Tingley.

We can also support people with:

  • Difficulties with communication
  • Mild to moderate behaviours that may challenge
  • Trauma
What you'll be doing

You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the service. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, supporting with care requirements, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
