Job summary

Cambia n Group Plc in Longden, near Shrewsbury, is looking for a Bank Children's Residential Care Worker to support children aged 8-18 in a residential home. You will help with daily routines, homework, activities, and meals, and you will contribute to creating a warm, safe, homely environment while building trust and emotional support.

No prior experience is required; full training will be provided, and opportunities for NVQ development are available, with comprehensive induction and ongoing

Responsibilities

• Support young people in their daily routines, including school preparation, activities, and meal times.
• Create a warm, homely environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks.
• Build relationships and provide emotional support during both highs and lows.
• Participate in fun, meaningful activities like trips to the park, board games, or movies.
• Complete essential planning and documentation.
• New staff must be comfortable using an electronic care recording system on a daily basis to document, monitor, and update children and young people's records accurately. Experience with Clearcare is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Pay & Benefits

• £13.19 per hour
• Overtime paid at 1.25
• Sleep-in shifts: £3000 per annum (up to 10 shifts/month)
