Job summary

Powys Teaching Health Board in Wales is seeking a Porter Assistant to work with the Hotel Services Supervisor. You will undertake porter and housekeeping duties to provide logistical support to Hotel Services and other departments, helping ensure smooth patient and staff movement and clean, safe environments.

You will be motivated and reliable with good communication, able to work with clinical staff and other teams. Training will be provided as needed.

Job description

The Porter Assistant is responsible to the Hotel Services Supervisor to undertake a range of porter and housekeeping duties, with the aim to provide logistical support to the Hotel Services and other departments. In addition to periodically to support the wider Hotel Services Team as directed e.g. catering or cleaning tasks.

You will need to be a motivated and reliable individual with good communication skills. As part of the role you will be working closely with clinical staff and other various departments. A good understanding of health and safety is essential. Any training requirements will be given.
