Hotel Services are currently looking to recruit individuals who would like to join a busy and committed department in providing portering services to cover all wards and departments. The successful candidates will play an integral role within the organisation. We are seeking to appoint Bank Porters to join our well established team. This will mean being available to work day shifts and night shifts, and having flexibility to alter shifts if necessary to support the needs of the service. There will be a requirement to work weekends and bank holidays., As a valued member of our Portering team, you will help support the smooth running of hospital services and contribute to delivering excellent patient care. This varied role includes patient movement, security duties, driving Health Board vehicles, post room operations, waste collection, the delivery and collection of food trolleys and linen, and transporting patient records across the hospital. Full training will be provided.
A full driving licence is required to drive Health Board vehicles, including a Category C1 licence where applicable. This requirement will be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010, and reasonable adjustments will be considered where appropriate.
