Bank Speech and Language Therapist (Band 7)
We are looking for Speech and Language Therapists at Band 7 to join NHS Forth Valley’s Staff Bank to provide staff at short notice and manage unforeseen staff shortages.
The Speech and Language Therapy team in Forth Valley is known nationally for their sector-leading work and has recently undergone a transformational change to further improve outcomes for children and young people, especially those living in poverty.
The team works in partnership with families, education, and health staff to deliver quality Universal, Targeted, and Individualised approaches. The successful candidate will work to reduce the impact of speech, language, and communication difficulties on children’s wellbeing, implementing a whole systems approach to improve outcomes.
This role involves delivering innovative universal, targeted, and individualised approaches within Education and the wider community. The candidate should have extensive experience supporting children and young people with communication needs, delivering whole school and nursery approaches, and measuring impact. Competence in improving communication environments, influencing behavior change, and coaching parents and staff using various interventions is essential.
You will receive professional support, leadership, and clinical supervision, along with access to high-quality professional development from our skilled teams across Forth Valley.
