We are seeking experienced Speech and Language Therapists at Band 7 to join NHS Forth Valley’s Staff Bank. The role involves providing staff at short notice to manage unforeseen staff shortages.
The Speech and Language Therapy team in Forth Valley is nationally recognized for their sector-leading work and has recently undergone transformational changes to improve outcomes for children and young people, especially those living in poverty.
The team collaborates with families, education, and health staff to deliver Universal, Targeted, and Individualised approaches. The successful candidate will work to reduce the impact of speech, language, and communication difficulties on children’s wellbeing, implementing a whole systems approach to enhance outcomes.
This role requires delivering innovative, whole-system approaches within Education and the wider community. Candidates should have extensive experience supporting children and young people with communication needs, including delivering universal and targeted approaches in schools and nurseries, and measuring their impact. The ability to improve communication environments, influence behavior change, and coach parents and educators using various interventions is essential.
